New! 4-week beginner’s pottery course on Friday evenings in July (£100)
New! Craft and Create – a regular Thursday afternoon crafternoon through July 2025 at Armonia Creative Space. Book to reserve your place, but pay-as-you-feel on the day (£8 recommended contribution).
Mosaic Workshop
You will be guided through the process to produce a delightful piece of mosaic art. There is a finishing process of grouting that needs to be done at least 24 hours later, which you can come back to the studio to complete, or take the grout home with you.
£29 all materials included; or £50 for two of you attending.
Jewellery Fun with Polymer Clay
In this fun and colourful workshop you will be supported in creating two pairs of earrings, a brooch or a key-ring in this wonderful, flexible oven-baking polymer clay.
Your creations will be baked during the session and you will then add your jewellery findings (hoops, hooks and clips) as a finishing touch.
Beginner’s Pottery Course: Hands-On Pottery
Learn the basics of hand-building in clay over four Friday evenings in July 2025. Sessions start on 4th July with pinch pots, moving on to coils, slab building and simple decorating techniques.
£100 for all four sessions, including all materials and firing costs (£80 concession)

Sea Glass Art on Driftwood
Using naturally tumbled sea glass and driftwood to create something beautiful and original.
You will be guided through the process by Karen from Shore Things by Karen and able to use watercolour paints and stamps to enhance your work of art.
No previous experience required.
£29 all materials included, or two of you come for £48
Botanical monoprinting
This friendly workshop will enable you to prepare and print your own designs using mono printing techniques with expert tuition from print-maker Jo Shearer. Designed for beginners, this workshop will also inspire more experienced attendees.
Adults and teens welcome.
£29 for the session, £50 for two people
Clay Animals & Sculptures
You will leave your creations at the studio for firing and glazing and they should be ready to collect in four weeks’ time.
Adults and accompanied teenagers are permitted.
£29 per person (£49 for you and a friend or teen)
Pottery Essentials
Tuesday evenings 6.30-8.30 pm
Come and spend Tuesday evenings in the company of adults working with clay learning simple techniques in hand-building to produce your own work with tuition from Frances.
Beginners and more experienced potters are welcome. Individual evenings or mornings are available at £20 per session.

Throwing on the Wheel

This is your chance to spend a couple of hours with Frances but not at our usual venue. We will meet at The Clay Room in centre of Leicester. You will learn the basics of how to throw a pot and have plenty of practice on a wheel.
Watercolour Painting with Naomi Hewson
23rd July, 5-7 pm – Exploring Architecture
30th July, 5-7 pm – Paint and Other Media
With a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for exploring painting, your tutor Naomi Hewson will expand your repertoire with an experimental approach to watercolour painting and using paint with other mediums.
All materials and tools are provided to enable you to develop your own work along with some inspiring resources. The workshop is designed to enable you to experiment. Beginners and those with some grounding in the techniques alike are welcome and will be well supported.
Decorating a pottery tile
It’s all about the decoration in this workshop. You will be exploring a range of surface decorating techniques on clay.
You will receive full guidance from Frances and will be able to collect the glazed, finished piece a few weeks’ later
£29 per person, or £49 for two people, including all materials and refreshments.
