Deepwell Arts in Leicester collaborates with Armonia Music Tuition and Creative Space, a well established creative venue at Martyrs Church Hall in the heart of the West End of Leicester. Deepwell Arts aims to bring new life to the area with a mix of arts and crafts workshops, drop-in sessions, occasional events and open studio times.

Mosaic Workshop
Wednesday 22nd January 6.30-8.30 plus Thursday 23rd January 7.30-8.30
You will be guided through the process to produce a delightful piece of mosaic art. There is a finishing process of grouting that needs to be done at least 24 hours later, which you can return to do the next evening at the studio for a Part 2 of the workshop.

Sea Glass Art Workshop

Silver Clay Charm

Join us for a fabulous Precious Metal Silver Clay – Charm Taster Workshop. You will make one charm with Precious Metal Silver Clay, from start to finish. You’ll learn how to handle, roll, shape and texture the silver clay, before drying and refining. Your charm will be ready to take home with you at the end of the workshop!
Pottery Essentials
Tuesday evenings 6.30-8.30 pm
Wednesday mornings 10.30-12.30
Come and spend Tuesday evenings in the company of adults working with clay learning simple techniques in hand-building to produce your own work with tuition from Frances.
Beginners and more experienced potters are welcome. Individual evenings or mornings are available at £20 (£15) per session.

An Afternoon of Linoprinting

This friendly session will enable you to prepare and print your own designs in lino with expert tuition from print-maker Jo Shearer. Designed for beginners, this workshop will also inspire more experienced attendees. Adults and teens welcome.
Candle-Making workshop

Learn the art of candle making in this 3 hour workshop. Make a fragranced container from wax and wicks and learn how to get your candle smelling amazing.
Whilst our candles set we will then create a pillar candle with any image or text of your choice.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, with no previous experience necessary.
